for 23 yrs i hv been waiting

finally hv the ability to earn $$$

the instinct of shopaholic of a female has reborn

my fds said i wont spend much $$$ coz i dont chase brand name products

well... thts only parta the pic

yes i dont chase brand name clothes, bags, shoes...

i save up hard, very hard indeed

not buying clothes for yrs

even skip meals s.times

juz to save up every penny

so tht i can buy a new computer

so tht i can keep my computer up-to-date

so tht i can buy a dslr

so tht i can buy the pc games i wanna play

so tht i can buy wtever hi-tech

thts only the difference of hobbies

i've got so many things i wanna buy

there're also many things i wanna learn

photography, music, sports, french, japanese, drawimg etc

all these need tonsa $$$

n the most $$$ of all

is to pursue my dream career........

tht would reli cost a bunch...............

i've got a job, in my fave sch

but i didnt deliberately tell everyone...

unless u r among my very best fds

or unless u ask me

i think i was the last one in my class to hv my 1st interview ever in a sch

n yet tht was my last interview

i wasnt reli worried abt not being able to get a job

except for the time when i was in addis

so in contrast i wasnt specially happy when i got it

back to topic..........

on 13/7 i got a phone call fr the principal of my Yr3 TP sch asking me for an interview

so interviewed on 15/7

the interview process was kinda special though...........

the interview was in chinese

the principal first indicated the details of the post... CM contract

chatted w/ me based on my resume (esp my CE n AL results ><6)......

abt my family......

abt my sec sch......

abt ied........

doesnt seem to be some common Qs ppl would ask rite?

yet the more is for him to tell me abt his sch

then he asked me to use eng n pth to intro myself for 1 min each

so for eng i talked abt my academic, n ECA for pth

i talked abt addis (n thts y i hadnt had any interview so far)

n he asked if i found it dangerous

i said no... he loved the ans, followed by asking me if i m a christian so wanna do service

i said being religious or not has nth related to helping ppl or not

he loved this ans 2

the most interesting part.......

he asked me whether i wanna teach in his sch

so of coz i said yes

then he said he'd hire me

thts it... thts all for my job hunting

btw i hvnt signed yet

The last night @ hall

Will miss my big big 211

coz my rm @ home is only abt 1/3 the size

this sem...

got the highest GPA ever ----- 3.4

dunno wt my overall GPA is

anyway a 2nd up for my bachelor

relieved...

back fr ETH for more than 10 days

still feeling tired

mentally

may be thts bcoz i hv got so much input (of info n emotions)

s.one asked me to share the exp on blog

um...

i will think abt it

The ultimate dinner talk by Northcote Tutor Team 2008-2009

when i was small, i always felt tht the senior Ss always looked so mature

but when i myself became a senior S, whether in p.sch or sec sch, i felt tht i was not as mature

i always compare... i admit it... this is an unconscious feeling

compared w/ the dinner talk held by previous tutor teams

to be frank, i always feel tht wt we did was not as gd......

we didnt invite a lot of very famous celebrities as guests

we didnt attract a lot of hall mates to participate

i know it is not fair to compare

but i could c we hv tried different styles in holding the events...

anyway it's gonna the end...

juz hope 1 day i can also be a guest.........

though hope is frail..........

reli long long time didnt type anyth on xanga

i rmb i 1st heard of xanga when i was in f.6

by tht time the dbs boys came to our sch for exchange

they intro us w/ this item

juz treating it as any other new tech

i didnt wanna touch it

though i always look pro in tech thing

esp after i entered ied

not sure how long later

i started typing xanga every day

whether i m b c or not

even if i had nth to type i'd juz type in saying i hv nth to do

esp when i was in aus n when i had my 1st tp

everyth seemed to be worth recording

i spent a lot of time posting photos as well as writing

dunno starting fr when

i seldom type anyth on xanga

wtever special thing happened

i juz dont wanna type

i juz thought tht as far as i enjoyed it n rmb it

there's no needa type it our

but i still opened another xanga acc to do my writing work

n planned to start posting 1 piece of work per day starting Jan 1 2009

but in the end.........

my 1st n last annual dinner

i like the guest's speech

but for the other parts... wt can i say...........

totally speechless

taken a rest for 2 long, abandoned all the sch work...

n afterall i got 2 excited n thus tired to get back to work

socializing w/ ppl is reli an energy-burning task

though i m not always the org-er, still feel tired

19/3 --- Joint floor activity

3 things r going on at the same time

time clash w/ ricky's lesson again

gonna skip the ethiopia workshop this time

running out of quota to skip lesson

n lost lots of knowledge already
